On Wednesday, March 26th, 12:30, FIS will host Education USA where they will cover all aspects of university education in the USA. 

This is a great opportunity to find out about American universities in general. 

The presentation will be  in the 3/F CDI (Library) on the following topics:

• US undergraduate education : Types of universities – liberal arts colleges, private universities, public universities
• Life in the USA : university life – what are fraternities and sororities?; locations; extracurriculars; travel
• Entrance requirements : SAT / ACT, IELTS, IB and French Baccalaureate results
• Financing your education : university expenses, other costs to consider, scholarships – merit based, needs aware, needs blind
• How to Apply : ED, EA, RD
• Applying : the systems : Common App, U of California, unique platforms; credit transfer; personal statement; recommendations; financial statement
• Time for a chat with students who want to know about IE including programs, career opportunities, and the presenter’s perspective as an alumnus. 

Students and parents are welcome.

IMPORTANT: If you wish to attend, you must get permission  BEFORE THE EVENT from your teacher who will be teaching during this time period (12:30 pm – 13:30) AND fill out this form by Monday, March 24th, to attend.
