UK Pre-Departure Briefing by British Council (in Hong Kong- Cantonese)

Dear students and parents,
The British Council is organizing two sessions of Pre-Departure Briefings for students preparing to study in the UK. These briefings aim to provide practical guidance and essential information on various aspects of living and studying in the UK, including visa procedures, banking services, overseas protection, and more. Two current students from the University of Bristol and the University of Plymouth will share their experiences, and a representative from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will present on the visa application process.
The following areas will be covered at the briefings:
1. Experience sharing by current UK students
- Travelling and Packing
– Arriving and Staying in the UK
– Finding Support in the UK
2. Overseas banking & protection (by HSBC Premier)
3. Accommodation: Why Invest Instead of Renting? (by Berkeley Group)
4. Student Visas by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) , Hong Kong.
